The day after news of Peter Som possibly leaving Bill Blass, Matthew Williamson continues the trend is leaving Pucci. With Williamson opening his own U.S. flagship in the Meatpacking District next year, he wants to focus more on building his own label.

I have to say that I'm sad about Matthew leaving Pucci. I really enjoyed the past few seasons and am anxious to see what direction the new creative director will take the Italian fashion house.
