Confession: I've been jonesing for a capelet. It's a glorified poncho with slits for your arms and completely Marry Poppins chic. Yes, please! Forever21 H81 Juliette Wool Capelet $29
Add a sexy peek of red to an all black outfit and you're ready to go. Christian Louboutin Very Croise Sandals $775
I have achieved what is a great feat in my book. Back in September I wrote a blog about what I wanted to see the actresses of Gossip Girl wear this season. And tonight, I saw it come true! Blair was wearing the fabulous Alice + Olivia dress that I picked out for her. Just call it fashion intuition. ;)

Last year I tried out two faces from MAC's Halloween looks (my hair has grown a lot since then!). I had so much fun doing them that I couldn't wait for this years looks to be put up online. Unfortunately there were nowhere near as many to choose from as last year. None of them screamed at me but I did like the She's A Doll look since it goes along with my Blythe costume. When I actually started trying this out, the eyes looked ridiculous so I modified the look. Keep in mind I did this with the things that are already in my makeup collection which only includes one MAC product. My camera battery is dead so I had to use my phone to take the picture. Sorry for the bad quality!
Fall and spices go hand-in-hand. So do spice colors! Ever notice that the colors of fall are also the colors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and er... pumpkin? Ok, that's not a spice but these items are sure to get you in the mood for fall. Even if it was 100 degrees in the Valley yesterday.
What am I wanting for October? Let's think pink! October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and proceeds from these products go to help find a cure.
As someone who has personally been touched by this cancer (my grandmother died from it in the 80s) education and early prevention are very important to me. Love youself, check those breasts, and shop guilt free for a cure!
Hands down, my absolute favorite of the night was Tina Fey. Her David Meister dress was simple, elegant, and fit to perfection. She kept the accesories to a minimum with dianond earrings and a stack of bangles. I still can't get over how gorgeous she looked!
Mariska Hargitay was a clear favorite for me in a sunny yellow Carolina Hererra gown. It looks like she's actually comfortable and the bow on her shoulder is perfect. Notice her burgundy nails?
My favorite go-to look for this fall is a floral dress, long cardigan belted with a brown leather belt, and some mary-janes. Add a crinkled bag and you have a look that is not too girly and has just enough spunk. A little colder where you live? Add some ribbed tights to the mix!
Mademoiselle cardigan $30 - Twelve by Twelve (lose the ribbon belt)
I've talked about my love for hats and now that fall is rolling around it's the perfect time to put away the canvas and straw break out some knits and wool!
A 21 year old fashion and beauty junkie living in LA. Obsessed with Chanel and a lover of thrift stores, my dream is to one day have my own boutique.
